 SimplyBhangra.com are sad to report the death of respected Panjabi vocalist Romey Gill. Details regarding his death are still very vague, however we would like to pass on our condolences to the Gill family. Although Romey Gill enjoyed considerable sucess in the UK Bhangra scene, he has remained an consistent figure throughout Panjab with hit tracks including; Nakhra Chari Jawani Da, Jeeto, Nahron Paar Bangla to name just a few. It was in Panjab where Romey Gill first made his name and delivered a sucession of hit albums under the production of Kiss NTell. Romey Gill will be sorely missed, but as other great vocalists, his voice will live on.
