Arshad Warsi – “I Never Wanted to Become a Star!”
Arshad Warsi is playing the lead in Shortkut but the actor tells he never believed in taking any shortcuts in real life.
“I only take a Shortkut in the movie but not in real life. In fact I did not even take a shortcut to become a star. I never wanted to become a star. I got the role in my lap. People who take shortcuts in real life and are successful are the blessed ones. It may be the easiest way to success but then one wrong move and things may go for a toss,” he tells.
“In fact I have always been an honest boy. My parents have brought me up that way. I have never lied or conned in my life and I want my kids to have the same upbringing. In fact, my teacher in school had told me. If you want to bunk school tell me the truth and bunk but if you ever lie to me; you have had it. I have worked hard since the age of 15 to reach where I am today,” he includes further.
Arshad tells that his honesty in life has in fact created a lot of problems. “I have fallen in trouble for my honesty. A lot of people dislike me because I am straightforward. I can’t be manipulative. A very prominent lady of the industry had once told me to keep my views to myself. Unfortunately I can’t control myself and I can’t lie.”
“My wife Maria is a lot more like me. She will not manipulate her words to tell me certain things in life. I have made an honest film like Kaun Bola” Arshad adds.
Ranbir Kapoor’s fight against Hair and Ego!!
Ranbir has grown a beard and moustache for his forthcoming role in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. Last week, while the actor was out for a quiet sit-down dinner with girlfriend Deepika Padukone, fans approached Deepika for autographs and photographs. However, they did not distinguish Ranbir because he looked so different.
Ranbir will be playing a Sikh character in his forthcoming film and has been given an all-new looking involving a turban and facial hair. Ranbir is usually quite a hit with the fans where a lot of fans approach him usually to get autographs when they see him. But this time, the actress was chased and nobody recognized Ranbir. Ranbir must have had quite the hearty laugh about this one!
Vidya Balan has a liking towards Zaheer’s Shyness!
