JOGAN in hindi, means a female counterpart of a jogi/yogi; someone who doesn't believe in worldly attachments. Although sufi music has its roots in devotional songs, it was adapted to expressing romantic love and became increasingly popular. Jogan has been composed & produced by the 515, with lyrics by Shama and guidance from well-known ghazal singer/composer, Tauseef Akhtar and recorded in London, Midlands and Mumbai over Skype!

The 515 Crew, producers and leaders in British Bollywood music, are the name behind 'MAAHI', 'BAARISH', 'DILJAANI' with Shama and 'MITWA' and 'DIL KI BAATEIN' with Chirag Rao. The 515 are also currently the live Bollywood sound, backing Shin of DCS, Navin Kundra, San2, Taz of Stereo Nation and Sona Walia. When Shama relaunched herself in 2009 with The 515 Crew, producer Hinal 'MasterKeyz' Pattani took the helm as creative director, ensuring that as a live act, the band fuse their diverse music influences from the Bhangra, Bollywood, Urban and World Music circuits to create a truly unique sound and performance.

Shama is described by Ehsaan Noorani of the globally renowned Bollywood maestros Shankar Ehsaan Loy as "a versatile singer with an ability to sing all styles of Indian music". Shama is an immensely talented singer/songwriter. Her single, Maahi, earned her a spot as an Introducing Artiste on the BBC as well as a nomination for best singer in the India-based ArtistAloud Awards. She brought more magic with 'Diljaani', an upbeat catchy number which was well received by radio/club DJ's, with the video receiving over half a million hits - the second highest after Miss Pooja, on a popular youtube channel featuring hundreds of artistes!

Shama has performed with Bollywood singers as well as UK artists and adds singing on Ex-Spice Girl Geri 'Ginger Spice' Halliwell's debut album 'Schizophonic' amongst her credits!

Jogan is making waves even before its release, receiving messages from well-known artistes in the music circle in UK and Bollywood.
