Introducing Chirag Sehgal
Introducing Chirag Sehgal who recently produced a song Called Heer Wobbling 4 Ranjha. As the name says, that it’s going to be a Dubstep production to which it is, but with a twist!
“Music is all about Pen and Paper where pen always does justice to a paper but the characteristics are dry and colorless where as music does Justice to Soul instead it is wet and colorful”
Hey All, This is Chirag Sehgal. I have been in the mixed Genre of music all my life. I started listening to Sonu Nigam when I was 9 Years old and then as time flew, I started listening to other artists and I was very lucky to be a part of 90’s Indie Pop music time. The 90’s was the time when we could actually listen to music which was not Bollywood at all. Pop Music used to live then.
William Orbit, Redone, Mike Shinoda, Pendulum, Adam T.C., Scooter, Skrillex, Mt Eden Dubstep, Truskool, Sukhshinder Shinda, Jaidev Kumar, Ram Sampat, Sohail Sen, Gaurav Dayal, Ravi Bal etc, can Talk about my inspirations the whole day and night. Listening to everyone mentioned here and the ones I didn’t mention made me Genre Defined Producer. “His music production is what we can’t think because he tries to mix all the genres together, Don’t know how but in his case it works”, Words said by my Mentor, with respect Mr. Gaurav Dayal. This was not less than an achievement for me.
I started Learning Music production at the age of 21 and keyboards thereafter. I was very lucky to be trained by Mr. Gaurav Dayal, who taught me all the in and outs of music production and then with my own interest and my own efforts I started building my knowledge by listening to anything I can and I would write down the instruments played in the song. That’s how I used to sharp my ears, by listening. My Music is full of everything in it. Everything means, it will have the elements of hip hop, electronic, Bollywood, Punjabi, RnB, DnB etc. Experimenting with sounds has always been my first priority. Experimenting with Sounds and rhythms has been utterly satisfying me till now. If in future you hear any of Chirag Sehgal’s production, it’s going to be genre defined record and not genre specific record. This is what I feel about me.
I have recently produced a song Called Heer Wobbling 4 Ranjha. As the name says, that it’s going to be a Dubstep production to which it is, but with a twist, the vocals are Punjabi folk where Heer is shouting and calling for Ranjha. The theme of the song is about Heer Crying for Ranjha, but here to make it sound attractive, I replaced Crying with Wobbling. That was much of me. Hope to entertain you all with some of my new and fresh productions in future.
