Introducing Shivangi Bhayana
Born and brought up in the breathtaking city of Vancouver, Canada, Shivangi began her musical journey at the tender age of four and has since done over hundreds of stage shows across Canada, USA, and India.
She has been covered by television shows, radio stations, and by newspapers and magazines. She has won many singing competitions and has also sung for many charity organizations. She has also performed in front of political personalities such as Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, and Mahendra Chaudhry (ex-Prime Minister of Fiji).
Shivangi began her training in Indian classical music in Vancouver at the age of ten and also took training in Western classical music. After high school, Shivangi decided to further her education in Indian classical music and moved to Mumbai, India.
Shivangi spent two years in Mumbai training under Saraswati Musical Academy. While training she began doing shows and performed for prestigious events such as the Mumbai Police Show and the Juhu Music Festival.
She also began doing recordings and completed a fusion album in which she was lead vocalist and lyricist. She sang for regional films (Punjabi, Gujarati, and Tamil) alongside well known recording artists. Her most recent and valuable accomplishment includes working with Bollywood’s Top Music Director, Monty Sharma (Saawariya fame), who gave Shivangi her first break in Bollywood Film Cinema with Anil Sharma’s APNE as a Background Vocalist and Background Lyricist.
Her most current project includes of collaborating with US producers for a Punjabi music album. She has worked alongside Canadian artists DJ HMD, Bob Mann, BattleKat, Prince Ghuman, and ASlam.

Shivangi uses her knowledge of Indian classical music and western classical to create a new genre of music that is unheard of. Her music is more than just a fusion between east and west but is a blend of the right elements from both worlds.
