Balbir Bhujhangy, enters into the 2021 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records
We are pleased and honoured to announce that Balbir Bhujhangy, 'Bhujhangy Group UK' has been entered into the 2021 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.
For 'Continuously performing as Bhujhangy for the longest running Bhangra band in the UK, for the past 54 years'.
A big thank you to the 350+ musicians that have played with Balbir Bhujhangy for the past 54 years as part of the Bhujhangy family. Balbir has continuously sang as Bhujhangy for the past 54 years, 41 of those years were with his dear brother who sadly past away in 2008.
Balbir has been rewarded for his continuous hard work and commitment to the Bhangra Industry, including his vast portfolio of charity work. Balbir Bhujhangy still continues to perform and promote Bhangra in and outside of the UK to this day and is the only active remaining member of Bhujhangy Group.
