SimplyBhangra.com have been nominated under the 'Best Website' category at this year Asian Media Awards - taking place in October!

Formed in 2006, SimplyBhangra.com was set-up to provide a digital outlet for Bhangra music. The website quickly grew as it began covering the latest Bhangra releases from not only here in the UK, but internationally, including India & North America.

Boasting interviews with some of the biggest names in South-Asian entertainment including; Jay Sean, Gurdas Mann, Jazzy B, Diljit Dosanjh & legendary Indian actor Dharmendra.

Described by BBC Asian Network Presenter/DJ Nihal as;

The website prides itself on breaking new exciting talent to the world & can proudly say it was the first online media outlet to cover the following stars; Imran Khan, Jaz Dhami, Sharry Mann, JK & Garry Sandhu to name just a few.

2012 saw SimplyBhangra.com take over popular Bhangra dance competition 'Bhangra Wars' – with two consecutive sell-out years raising thousands of pounds for charity, and providing a platform for Bhangra teams across the UK.

The Asian Media Awards 2014 will be taking place on 28th October at the Hilton Hotel, Deansgate Manchester.
