After running as AAP candiate for Sangrur in the 2014 Indian Lokh Saba elections - Bhagwant Mann has released a new song criticizing Punjabi singers for supporting the Badal led Akali Dal party in elections.

In the run up to the elections, TV ads featuring Jazzy B, Diljit, Gippy Grewal & Harbhajan Mann aired on Punjab TV channels, urging voters to support the Badal led Akali Dal party in forthcoming elections. These artists were severely criticised by a section of fans via their facebook & twitter pages; leading to a public apology from Gippy Grewal.

Bhagwant Mann has released a new single that launches an attack on these singers and their much publicised support of a family which has been in power in Punjab for the past 7 years, led by Parkash Singh Badal.
