The boys have previously worked together on many projects and their synergy has inspired them to join forces as Breaking Beats. With such a comprehensive skill set and years of experience in many musical genres, Breaking Beats refuse to be tied down to one particular music style. In fact they are already working on a number of collaborations with British & American urban artists as well as some alternative styles sure to please ears across the globe.

Having performed at clubs in the UK, across Europe and the USA, Breaking Beats take great pride and pleasure entertaining live. Most recently, they performed on the Main Stage at the Edinburgh Mela where they were humbled by a phenomenal response. The guys were also showcased and interviewed on BBC Asian Network when they were invited to produce a VIP Remix for the DJ Kayper Show.

“Ik Gera Ik Gera” is a Panjabi song intended to bring a smile to the listener. The chorus transliterated means, “Give me one dance”. Sung beautifully by Nimrata it paints a scene of a joyous party, a happy occasion and a dialogue of the attraction a girl feels towards a guy with whom she wishes to dance. Breaking Beats have carefully produced the song to sound authentic using traditional Panjabi instrumentation with subtle western sounds. For a more intense flavour, a drum and bass remix is scheduled to be released.

Breaking Beats are also working on music featuring well known Asian artists to be announced soon, and the boys will also be introducing and showcasing some brand new talent from the UK & India. Watch this space.
