The talented musician from Wolverhampton launches young British artist LuckStar, forming his third release promoting fresh new talent. After the recent success of singles ‘Akhiyan’ and ‘Jee Kardha’ by homegrown singers, Bally Gill now presents ‘Soniyeh’ by LuckStar.

LuckStar, formerly known as Taqdeer Lucky, vocals on his second single, after the recent debut ‘Sunyara’. The single ‘Soniyeh’ has been written, composed and directed by Bally Gill.

Born and raised in Birmingham, LuckStar cites his influences as the late great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Hans Raj Hans, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Manmohan Waris, great artists reflecting LuckStar’s classical and folk training.

LuckStar has been in the Bhangra industry for many years in many guises, mainly as a DJ and has several years experience singing on the live circuit with many bands. Still only in his 20’s, he presents a strong powerful traditional Punjabi voice, He comes from a musical family and feels that singing and performing is inherent within his blood.

The single is to released in September 2011 on One Jam Records. It will be available online on ITunes. The accompanying video will be shot in the UK by Parmod Sharma and will hit the channels very soon.
