Nick Chowlia has teamed up with upcoming artist, Sony Dhugga to create an impromptu Bhangra track - inspired by the pandemonium of the Vancouver Canucks hype in the final days of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The song, which is a tribute to the Canucks is titled, 'Canucks Waleyan Ne' and has gone viral amongst South Asian Canucks fans.  Sony Dhugga, who hails from Abbotsford, along with the song’s lyricist, Kulvir Sahota, worked with Nick Chowlia to create the track in a jam-packed four hour studio session.

Along with waving flags, hoisting mock Stanley Cups and dressing up in Canuck blue and green to support their team, South Asian fans can call into their local radio stations and request 'Canucks Waleyan Ne' .  In the coming days, stay tuned for news on how to purchase 'Canucks Waleyan Ne' via iTunes.
