From being a Punjabi singer to going into Punjabi movies, the talented Ammy Virk has announced he will be entering the scenes of Bollywood!

Releasing hits such as ‘Doublecross’ and ‘Zindabaad Yaarian’ and movies like ‘Qismat’ and ‘Ardaas’ he will now be a part of ‘83 where he will play the role of the former cricketer Balwinder Singh Sandhu.

In the 1983 World Cup, Balwinder took 2 wickets in the finals and bowled out West Indies players Gordon Greenidge and Faoud Bacchus.

The film will be directed by Kabir Khan. Shooting is planned to begin in May until August and scheduled to release on 10th April 2020!
