Madonna is currently going though a divorce yet the Queen of Pop is definitely eager to meet Shehenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan one day.
An interview was conducted with Madonna recently and when she was asked, “Does Bollywood appeal to you?” Madonna said, “To me, Indian cinema means musicals. When I was in India, I really wanted to see a Bollywood flick yet didn’t manage to do so. But I have heard a lot about Mr Amitabh Bachchan, I would love to meet him some day.”
What a lucky man Big B is, we can only wonder if Big B is also eager to meet Madonna!
Shah Rukh Khan – GoodBye to Mr. Lean!
Shah Rukh Khan is not resting on the success that his current film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” has brought for him. He is all set and back to work to start filming for Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan where SRK will be seen suffering from autism in the film.
Shah Rukh plays Rizvan Khan who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome which makes interaction and behavior weird and difficult.
SRK has to say bye bye to his lean look as he needs to put on weight for his new role in “My Name is Khan.” SRK says, “The role requires me to have a fuller look. I am reading, watching documentaries, meeting people who are affected by autism and doctors who deal with it. It’s very unnerving and I salute parents who bring up children with any disorders.”
What will be new in Karan Johar’s film “My Name is Khan” after Dostana. Let us wait and see!
Arjun Rampal refuses a Father’s Role!
Arjun Rampal in reality is a father of his two young daughters but in real life he doesn’t want to play the father of two kids. That’s the reason why he turned down Meghna Gulzar’s next directorial film.
A source tells, “Meghna was keen to cast Arjun in a very important role, but Arjun said he did not want to be cast as the father.”
Producer Savita confirmed the news, “Arjun did turn down the role. We have two kids in the film aged ten and eight. Arjun did not want to play a father to two kids.”
Savita includes, “After Rock On!! Maybe he wants to maintain a certain image and we respect that. However we are talking to Arjun for some other movies. We would love to have him on board for one of our forthcoming projects.”
Could it be a question of either maintaining his image or has he had it with being a daddy?
It is not the first time this has happened for Yash Raj Films, but it has certainly the fastest. Hardly a day had gone by and the release of “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” that the Oscar library had made a request for the script for its permanent collection. The sensitivity of the screenplay and the unusual love story attracted the attention of the staff at the library right away. The scripts in the collection reside at the Margaret Herrick Library and are made available for research purposes only; students, filmmakers, writers and actors are among the regular patrons. Screenplays may only be viewed in the library; they are not to be circulated or photocopied!
The invitation is a recognition that the screenplay of “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” stands out from the crowd - not just among Indian films but films released worldwide. As the movie goes from strength to strength at the box office, it is a tribute to the entire team whose passion, hard work and sheer creativity that made the movie such a refreshing change of pace for fed-up audiences.
What an accomplishment! J
Aamir Khan on the go with his Eight Pack ABS?????
Aamir Khan is looking dazzling these days, while other Khans are sporting six-pack abs, Aamir has gone two pack ahead with his physique.
Aamir reveals the top secret behind his six-pack Ghajini look.
Talking about his physique Aamir says, “I needed this kind of physique because the kind of action you see me doing, you will believe I am capable of only because of my body.”
“It took three hours of workout every day. I began on March 15, 2007, one day after my birthday, and it went on till April 21, 2008, I learnt a lot about fitness in this period. And how far I can push myself.”
“All credit goes to my physical trainer Satyajit Chaurasia and diet by Dr. Vinod Durandhar. The workout was a cycle of three days…”
“Mondays I did chest and back, Tuesdays I worked on the arms, and Wednesdays I exercised my shoulders and legs. Then I would repeat the cycle. This included cardio every day of between half-hour to an hour.”
“I did abs to work the core muscles and get the six-pack, say 1,000 crunches. On days when I felt good, I would push myself more. There was no time to think… because I’d be screaming in pain!”
"I was particular about getting eight hours of sleep. No matter what time I went to bed, I’d get eight hours, then get up and start training. It was hard, because I was into post production for Taare Zameen Par at the time. And I’d finish my workouts, shower, crash out for a while to regain strength, then go to work.”
“It was a balanced diet, one-third fat, one-third carbs, one-third protein, but normal food, rotis, rice, sabzis, chicken, 16 egg whites, fruit, and four litres of water. All cooked in three teaspoons of oil.”
“No, not olive oil. There was no sugar, no potatoes, no bananas, no red meat, no egg yolks and no fried stuff. The diet changed every month.”
“In the last week and before I went on the sets of “Ghajini”, I cut down salt. And the last three days, I took myself to the brink of dehydration by having just one glass of water a day. This cut that last bit of fat. And the body looked lean and ripped.”
How much will Aamir attracts the audience with his six abs and will that be enough to help pull the audience into theatres?
