Lyrical phenomenon Kidd Skilly will be gracing the UK with his presence next week with a whistle stop trans-Atlantic visit. The US based rapper will be touring the UK and performing new tracks from his upcoming mix-tape Undercover Superstar 2. The latest offering from Skilly has already seen the release of “Just Dance”, his unique interpretation of Lady Gaga’s Number 1 hit of the same name and “Dreamer”, which celebrates the ascent of US president Barack Obama.

Hailing from Detroit, Kidd Skilly’s fresh approach to Urban Desi music has already seen him team up with R’n’B heavyweight Akon on the 2008 hit “Ni Soniyeh” and found further success with the club anthem “Bhangra Chick”. His Mexican and Indian heritage has given him a sense of individuality and the fusion elements of his music make him one of the most original artists currently on the scene.

This month will see Kidd Skilly performing at some of the country’s biggest events and most recognised venues including the Zee Carnival at Kensington Olympia, where he is on stage on both Saturday 14^th February and Sunday 15^th February, joining a stellar line up which includes Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Jay Sean, Hard Kaur and Rishi Rich Productions. Skilly will also be performing new tracks at popular club nights such as Tiffinbeats (13^th February) and Kandy Nights (!4^th February).
