“Bulliaan Gulabi” is Mani’s follow up to his breakthrough single released this summer entitled “Yaari” featuring Wyze Wonda of the Bedrock Camp. His debut track became a mainstream hit on YouTube, acquiring tens of thousands of views in a few weeks.
With “Bulliaan Gulabi”, the young artist from Brampton hopes to improve upon this early success and reach an even greater audience, “My music is born from my global experiences travelling the world. It’s inspired by the fluid mix of hip hop and modern day desi, and ‘Bulliaan Gulabi’ is a perfect reflection of that.”
The new single will feature Canadian pop star Danny Fernandes who is signed to CP Records. Fernandes is best known for his chart topping singles “Private Dancer” from the album Intro. The song landed the young star an MMVA award last year. Mani feels that collaborating with Fernandes will open up his music to a wider audience and solidify his presence in the South Asian music industry.
Beyond the new single, Mani is working on a new album scheduled to be released August 2011. The yet to be titled LP will be available via iTunes and Westend video.
Mani’s new and previous singles are available for free download on his website – www.preetmani.com. With anticipation for the new single and album reaching a fever pitch, check the site often for news, video and international tour schedule.
