Mitti Di Khushboo - (Acoustic Cover By Shweta Subram)

Mitti Di Khushboo, the melodious single by Bollywood actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana and composer Rochak Kohli is generating quite a buzz. This is their third song together after the successes of Pani Da Rang from Vicky Donor and Saadi Galli Aaja from Nautanki Saala.

The video is produced and released by Qyuki, which is founded by Shekhar Kapur, A.R. Rahman, and Samir Bangara.

Shweta Subram, an Indo-Canadian vocalist, teamed up with beatboxer Prashant Nair, flutist Tejas Vinchurkar, and guitarist Glenn Fernandes to create an edgy cover of this beautiful song. Adding a feather to hat is Bharat Goel mixed and mastered this version. He’s the man behind the original as well.

According to Daily Times, Ayushmann said, “This song is about love, rain, nostalgia, it’s about everything you remember from the past, and I think, it will be a home coming anthem this festive season.”

Shweta is well known for her successful collaboration with The Piano Guys on an Indian version of Don’t You Worry Child, which has surpassed 8.5 million views on YouTube. She has released Mere Saajan Sun Sun with Shankar Tucker and has performed at the IIFA Awards with Bollywood maestros Salim-Sulaiman. Shweta has also done a cover of Saadi Galli Aaja with Studiounplugged, which has received a tremendous response. Her cover of Mitti Di Khushboo is already being talked about and is being circulated widely in social media.
