Quoting Realist.:
It isnt even about singers becoming actors, its about the standard storylines...just how bhangra music now has standard lyrics and production...punjabis love to recycle the same stuff.
What pisses me off the most though is how thick people are and they go and watch this shit, but its understandable; everytime i go punjab i feel like bombing 90% of the men there...from the freshi in the pind pulling out his phone and showing me porn, to the boys in the citys thinking that their models to the gynais and pardaans in the gurdwaras sitting on money and not helping the community, just filling their pockets. There seriously is no pride in being punjabi anymore...hype all you want about the open farmland, colourful paghs and suits, but on ground level its bullshit everyone is a sheep, atleast in the western world most of the youth have some sense, in punjab its a dwindling minority

Could not have explained it better!

This seems like a copy of Mr. & Mrs. Smith staring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Have a look at this piece of turd called "acting" by KS Makhan

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfPGKTLzLP8

It's a comedy without intending to be one!

Gippy got quite success wit his movies and indeed some of them are funny.

But somehow every singer believe they can act because they got money. I still remember the horrible performance by Roshan Prince, Amrinder Gill nails it every time when it comes to suck ass as an actor, KS Makhan wan't to give his shot as well and i already mentioned Balkar Sidhu.

How on earth can they believe that having money and being singers makes them good actors? Punjab is being milked in every way possible. Money, culture, wealth, future, and heck even the last few brain cells which remains.

Regardless of what the storyline of the film is, and how punjabis are portrayed in it...what was the need of calling it Singh vs Kaur...This movie firstly has nothing to do with Sikhi or the Khalsa Panth and secondly Singhs will never be against Kaurs and vice versa; its a bad title for the film, yes it'll get a bit of pump, and people going to see it just because it makes them feel like their doing something positive and supporting the punjabi heritage! But 9/10 even the punjabi cinemas make the singh/ sikh the 'joke.'

The punjabi industry is a joke in many ways. Singers becoming actors which their are not - i mean KS Makhan is releasing a movie soon! LOL!

Balkar Sidhu, the awful actor Amrinder Gill and many more.
