New figures released today by the BBC show that With 810,00 views recorded from people pressing their Red Button or going online to watch highlights from the summer melas, it is one of the most popular music events ever shown on the BBC's Red Button.

The Summer of Melas includes performances from Melas around the UK where the BBC's Asian Network broadcasted from - including London, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester. The highlights feature stars like H-Dhami, Sukshinder Shinda, B21 and Outlandish.

The compliations of highlights from the summer of melas has been screened on the Red Button and online for seven days (17 - 23 August) giving fans all over the UK a chance to catch the performances.
