Simply Bhangra’s Kirat Raj Singh, looks ahead to one of the most eagerly awaited shows of the year - 'The Kapil Sharma Show' as 'The Comedy Show' in London!!

Mention the words ‘comedy’ and ‘Bollywood’ together and chances are that the first person you would think of would be Kapil Sharma, the 35-year old who is vastly regarded as the undisputed king of stand-up comedy in India. Originally hailing from Amritsar, Kapil Sharma had initially aspired to be a playback singer. But after taking part in the Punjabi comedy reality show, Hasde Hasande Raho, he realised his true calling lay elsewhere. He finally caught his break after winning the ‘Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, which brought him recognition across India as a master of comedy timing and for his one-line quips.

After progressing through other reality shows, as a participant and host, Kapil finally launched his own production company and show; the super hit ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil.’

Supported by a range of talented actors such as Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and the unique Navjot Singh Sidhu, the show went on to become India’s most popular programme, earning Sharma the title of ‘Entertainer of the Year’ in 2013.

Influenced by the British show, “The Kumars at No. 42”, ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ has attracted the greats of Bollywood, the Indian Sports fraternity and even Hollywood with Pamela Anderson making an appearance on his show. In 2015, he made his debut as lead star in the Bollywood film, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.’

Now after performing in sold out shows across India, Dubai, USA and Canada, Kapil Sharma and his team are all set to perform in the U.K. The show, organised by Film Onix, will include all of his popular comedy performances alongside a new production especially for UK audiences. An evening which promises to mesmerise all fans of all ages, SSE Arena Wembley is definitely the place to be on the Saturday 20th August 2016.
