Did not break the iTunes top 100 charts. So it has failed in terms of that. B21 hit number 12. Jazzy had hit 25. Diljit has hit 26 in the past.

I would of though Shinda fan base would have been bigger. Still a top album none the less. Shinda needs to go back to his 90s roots.

It went 40 but thats not the point its the best album released this year so far

Don't know why people are hating on this album. On the whole it sounds good, lyrics and compositions are top and music is good as always. Artists change over time to suit the market etc but I'm sure Shinda will have a sick folk n funky album out next year with Jazzy B

Lol at the dude posting below me. If thats the case why does jazzy bs track have a lame hiphop beat? he sounds like he's dying on the mic at the start of his track. Every song on this album sounds so basic, the collaboration albums he's done have gotten worse compared to the first one. I guess shinda is appeasing to the mainstream media not the [censored] heads like he did back in the 90s can't really blame him though.

Im comparing it to music released this year not 90,s that was then this now

The difference between this album and others is shinda sat with every singer they carefully chose each song and compositions were made to suit the vocalist, a lot of effort went into this thats why it sounds so good and i could listen to this for next 6 months easily

Frankly speaking, yes this year album from Punjab have taken the lead, My opinion after listening to this album, ummm... not excited.. same old Shinda beats and i would say its an average album... not what i had expected. A question i have is... the kid, who's vocals we get to hear in shands songs all this years, u mean he has not grown? lol

Personally i gave up on shinda albums once he started singing, not a fan his singing. i preferred the albums he used to before all the singing, Phases, Moving & grooving etc.. those albums were good. i wish he would do one album just purely produced no singing.

Quoting Mr Singh:
Being a Sukshinder Shinda album theres always going to be a massive hype. Some good vocals and production from Shinda along side some big names. Love the Kamal Khan and Surinder Shinda track. Expected bit more from the Diljit track, however still a good album but doesn't really compare to some previous stuff. 7/10

Best album of the year without a doubt
KULVINDER JOHAL - ONCE UPON THE MIC

johals album was really poor. best albums have all come from india this year. and shinda cant make them beats like he could 10 years ago.. he has softened his sound too much
