After releasing 15 albums spanning 21 years, Azaad were at the forefront of the live bandscene during the 80’s & 90’s. After officially retiring almost 10 years ago, Parminder Azaad returns with a brand new solo album titled ‘Punjabi Flava’.

Parminder Azaad gives his own thoughts on the forthcoming album;

“I might not change the Punjabi Music scene with this album, there are plenty of younger singers with plenty of bling and fancy videos to do that, but I hope I can take you back to a time when….we did things differently!

It’s been a challenge to get back into an Industry that has changed so much, but even if you like one track from this Album it will have been well worth it.”

‘Punjabi Flava’ has been produced by Parminder Azaad, T J Rehmi and Bagga Dimana who have given the album a refreshing contemporary feel.

Watch out for promos & video coming soon!

The album ‘Punjabi Flava’ will be releasing soon on CD, via iTunes & other leading digital outlets.

Wow, Mr Parminder Azaad, where have you been all these years, its good to see you finally coming back with something that is true punjabi, i have to say sangeet has no clue what he/she is talking about, there are so many singers from the 80's making a come back and the advantage you have is that you can actually sing. the likes of dhami, kumar and channi have lost it now, but listening to your promos sounds like you have still got it, i will keep an eye out for any live sets that you do.thanks for coming back

ehy to people keeping chatting about the old stuff theirs a lot more competition now so even like of this guy or Azaad have to move on and try to beat and do better and to be honest it not sounding tough at all.

OK songs sounds bit old and not the usual up tempo stuff. the music is not no way done here in the uk as it seems well out of date.

hope it doz well as Azaad are normally ok but i feel its too late for him to come back now.

sorry too late should have been the name of the album lol
