For Rush The DJ it all started off as a specialist UK Garage DJ, performing on some of the biggest community radio stations, holding down regular sets at many of the most established events in London, including Garage Nation and Hanky Panky.  After developing his self taught skills Rush went back to basics and studied Music Technology, and got to work unique UK Garage style with R&B, Hip Hop and Bashment; so helping him complete his brand new solo album. - THE RUSH HOUR

Work started on the album in January 2005, with RUSH THE DJ setting off to India to personally record his vocalists, with 4Play Recordings quick off the mark to secure his talent for their label.  The album features 8 of the hottest new tracks to hit the Bhangra scene and includes several of the biggest vocalists direct for India - Labh Janjua, Kuldip Manak, Surinda Shinda, Ranjeet Manni and Tanveer Gogi.

THE RUSH HOUR not only showcases RUSH THE DJ's production, but also includes a bonus DJ mix set giving you an hour of non-stop Desi vibes.

Rush the DJ presents The Rush Hour, 60 minutes of non stop desi sounds.

The album consists of the crème de la crème of the Bhangra industry, Surinder Shinda, Labh Janjua, Ranjit Mani and Tanveer Gogi.  These vocalists have been used in a mixture of traditional, reggaeton and urban beats, not forgetting the electro beats that have been infused with the King of Kings Kuldip Manak.  This has been seen as a track that has broken boundaries through the use of raw vocals and a new musical style.
