Bhangra sensation Jaz Dhami unleashes the smash hit of the summer Theke Wali, an exceptional track which highlights the vocal sophistication of the 2009 AMA Award winning artist for Best Newcomer.

Theke Wali comes as a follow up to Jaz Dhami’s debut hit Roj Miliye and his latest release is gathering momentum across the globe and has already accumulated over 2000 You Tube hits on the 1st day of its release.

The video for Theke Wali comes courtesy of Award winning producer Jazz Virk, who is the mastermind behind some of the best music videos in the industry, producing for the likes of Jazzy B and Babu Man and now Jaz Dhami’s Theke Wali furthers Virks continuation of producing artistic brilliance.

Dhami says: “Working with a great director like Jazz Virk has been a fantastic experience for me. He has so much enthusiasm for what he does and it’s easy to see why he comes so well recommended. After seeing his previous work, I was confident of making top videos with him and having filmed “Roj Miliye” in Los Angeles, we flew Jazz Virk over to the UK for the ‘Theke Wali’ video and it is another example of us working so well together. “

Shot in Birmingham, home to Jaz Dhami, Theke Wali is a colourful, funky video which marries the bashful and thumping beats of the track which certainly gets your feet twitching to move.

Theke Wali will be featured on the eagerly anticipated album from Jaz Dhami which is scheduled to be released in the late summer under Sanchez Productions Limited. The EP will feature Roj Miliye, Sona Munda and the unforgettable Sadi Jind Jaan.

AWESOME song and BRILLIANT video!! Very energetic and colourful and compliments the song well!!! Keep it up…forget what all the haterz are saying, its just sheer jealousy!! They dont want to contribute towards expanding/investing into UK Bhangra industry (by purchasing original copies - and NOT Downloading); but still expect artists to go into their own pockets and produce a high quality product! These critics dont make sense…lol

I got a glimpse of you and your live band at Nottingham Mela yesterday for the first time and you guys absolutely ROCKED!!!…Cant believe how much people are hating.

Wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you again real soon.

cant have put any better!
