Petite is the word that comes to mind as soon as you see her however, have multi talents in the world of audio. “KARY” – FIRST LADY DJ OF NORTH AND SOUTH INDIA and BELONGS TO THE FIRST GENERATION OF LADY AUDIO ENGINEER’S OF S A E (school of audio engineering) who is a right example of a new carrier option for ladies of today’s generation.

Despite of djin’ being a challenging job for girls in India, she refused to bow down and sculpting herself the cue's, bars, experimenting different styles of mixing, sensing musical pulse of the people turned her into a self made dj. She has been a celebrity dj from past 10 yrs (since 1998) and qualified audio engineer from SAE (school of audio engineering, Chennai, India). Audio engineering, which till 2005 was a solid male bastion, Kary broke all the barrier’s and challenges, where few of the Indian girls would dare to venture.

She not only creates channels for self - expression but is also multi talented and gives prime importance to creativity in the field of music. She believes “music is not only passion or talent one should slip in and out of inner consciousness while listening to music to understand or feel it on a higher level only than one will be able to spin or create something out of it”.

Featured in documentary movie “360 degree djs” based on “pioneer djs” broadcasted on British council festival, BBC, Aajtak, Sun TV (India) (in 2003)

Interviewed by national channels like ndtv, s-1, aajtak, headlines today, dd, and international channel bbc world several times.
