Yash Raj Films has made all possible attempts to promote the film and hope that it will not be a repeat of the Jhoom Barbar Jhoom that did very badly at the box office. The movie is based on the real life story of Indian Hockey legend 'Negi’, who was charged with match fixing allegations in 1982 when India lost to Pakistan in the Asian Games, New Delhi. He was later called back to coach the Indian Women Hockey team, which under his guidance, won gold in the 2002 Common Wealth Games.The movie revolves around the story a hockey coach for a girl's team and a young Sikh girl who wants to join the hockey team but does not get the approval of her parents. Shahrukh, plays the coach in the movie and he did a lot of research regarding the role. He also spent time with Negi to understand the character better. We can only wait and see what happens with the movie and will it be a success ??
