Chand Ke Paar Chalo is the love story of a dancer (Preeti Jhangiani) and a photographer (Saahib) who come to Mumbai with the dream of Preeti becoming a film star. When Preeti realizes her ambition, she gives Saahib the cold shoulder, and when her secretary (Shakti Kapoor) insults him, Saahib dejectedly returns back to Nainital. Now it goes without saying, but the story totally lacks originality. But performance-wise, Preeti Jhangiani has done a good job, and surprisingly debutant Saahib too comes across impressive.
