His parents deserve congratulations for providing him his needs, his friends for genuine encouragement, his  acquaintances for pushing him upward and his well wishes for wishing him the best all the time. 

Diljit born on 6th January 1984 at Dosanjh Kallan near Phagwara in home of S. Balbir Singh Dosanjh.  He spent his early childhood there in the village. Afterwards, his family settled down in Ludhiana city where he continued his school education. This heartthrob of millions was fond of music since childhood. 

The stage and mic was what he wanted. He continued with his passion for music and came across the icons of music: He is bestowed with music from: S. Gobinder Singh Allampuri Ji Prof. Kartar Singh Ji Hari Dutt Sharma Ji (Principle of Dosanjh College) Daljit Dhurkatia Ji Diljit was given a break by S. Rajinder Singh in finetone, his established music company, with “Ishq Da Uuda Aada” with the music of Bablu Mahindra and lyrics by Balbir Boparia.

He set the new trend of dancing numbers with his singing. This was the beginning of giving  hits by “Diljit”. Then come his album “Dil” and “Smile” which were the best selling albums of 2005. Next was “Ishq Ho Geya” with the romantic touch. Name “Dancing Machine” is given by fans because of his electrifying singing and dancing.

He can be seen full of energy in his dancing tracks which makes the feet tap of the people who are unfamiliar with dancing. He has worked with music directors such as Sukhpal Sukh, Sachin Ahuja, Pavneet Birgi  who produced smash hit tracks such as Paggan Pochwiyan Wale, Allaran Kuarriyan, Daaka, Dil Sade Naal Lala,  Dhamal and Rewalwer to name a few. Working with video directors such as Rimpy Prince, Amarjit Satwant and Parmod Rana.

His songs are for all age groups; young as well as old. Parties are not complete without his most smash  hit track “Nachdiyan Allaran Kuaariyan”. (Source: Diljit.net)
